The city
stands in the place of the lykischen Telmessos, its beginnings to in 5.
Century before Christ hand back. Newer research has devoted, which this

in the suburb Çalıº. Here is also the longest beach of Fethiye

A grave

The ruins
of the healistic theatre after the excavation, which was still quite
well received up to the large quake 1856, are worth seeing. Stone
blocks of the theatre rolled approx. 70 m with the Zerstöhrung by
the earthquake into that port removed and in the flat basin to see.
The buried theatre was excavated in the second half of the 1990er
years of archaeologists of the University of Istanbul. |

IIn
the southern city range at the roadside, at small places and between
houses are still several individual lykische and Roman lükische
Sarkophage in situ. One is located in
a populated area even in the middle on a road. The Strassenverker is
on the left and on the right led past the unusual object. Other
graves are at the walls of the houses or serve - on the side tilted
- than chicken houses. |

modern Marina “Ecesaray & Resort” is around the clock opened. It
offers luxuriöse equipment and an extensive service offer. The
Marina has 6 swimming gene, all comprehensive breakwater and 465
Muringplätzen. |

Two
years one was occupied with the particularly difficult bar construction,
because the swimming bars had to be embodied on depth of water by 20
meters. Travellift and land couch places are in the building. Since
summer 2003 is the Marina and offers Rundumschutz above all also in the
